Right Now
I’m about to start school again for the semester. I’ve been very desperate about getting back into visual art stuff because, I didn’t take any art classes last semester. Now I’m like starving for art. I think I needed the break though. I needed to get away and get inspired, and now I’m ready to jump back into it. I just really wish art school (or school in general- in the financial sense) didn’t have to be so complicated. I mean, obvious getting a degree in Design/Illustration will be very useful for me, but sometimes I wish I could just drop everything and just do art and do it well, and make a career out of it. I mean, I know stuff like that takes a long time and a lot of real art development takes real life experience, but sometimes I just feel so sick of having to follow guidelines and regulations. I just want to be able to make art and be happy. I don’t even care that much about making a mark on the world, there’s better people for that, but I’ll be happy as long as I can make art.
Anywho, I’m trying to experiment more with typography so here’s a piece I’ve been toying with. Click the image to see the full size image on deviantart.com

Do you remember me? I’m Val from Tokio Hotel Official on Ning (and 5fans). Way back in the day, right? Before your obsession with BigBang and such…
Well anywho, I want to tell you something…um…surprising. A year ago, when I first saw that you had a new group that you were following, I was kinda let down. I mean, at the time, Tokio Hotel was everything in the world to me.
But now, I have perspective. And I understand you completely. You can’t like one thing forever. I can’t even like one thing forever. I’m keeping the site up, but my interest has wandered into other fields as well.
Speaking of other fields…my interests now once again completely coincide with yours. What do I mean? I am a Shawol, a VIP, a Cassie, and a member of Triple S! I’ve been watching Korean dramas for the past three months too, and I’m pretty much addicted to the Korean culture (especially music). I can talk for hours about each of the Bigbang members in detail (TOP was my bias, but as of late, it’s Seungri because of his last two music videos). I can also chat about dramas (I happen to be watching several at the moment).
And another thing that’s similar: I’m in art school too!
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I miss you. Not as a site creator to a member or as a Tokio Hotel fan, even. Just as a girl who met somebody totally cool online and wants to catch up and talk.
