Tattoo Sketchbook, now available!
So I finally posted the rest of the tattoo sketchbook. There are two more that I want to put up as soon as possible, then I might begin putting up some really old sketchbooks. So for now, go check out the “Tattoo” sketchbook!
Sketchbook completed!
I’ve just finished uploading my Pink Metal sketchbook to the Sketchbooks page! Go check it out. Up next will be the Tattoo sketchbook
New sketchbook added!
Happy Wednesday, two people who came across my blog by mistake and might not read past this line!
I’ve added a “full” sketchbook to my sketchbook page. It’s my sketchbook from my Los Angeles study trip with Marwen in 2007. Go check it out! Next up, I plan to finish uploading my Pink Metal sketchbook in the next couple of days.
I’m also currently working on some black and white drawings on brown packaging paper. The set I’m currently working on is going to be a 4-piece polyptych self portrait. I’ll post up a preview later on. That’s all for now!
Two new drawings!
See! I can be productive!
WARNING! The Korean in the first one might not make any sense D:
Supposed to say,
Panel 1: G-Dragon is hiding
panel 2: Escaping! Kekeke
Both will soon be added to my Big Bang FART page

Tomorrow is my last day of class. I have to turn in a project where I have to make a piece out of serial planes. I have to use an existing form and up-scale it. So I’m making a foot long earbud.
I don’t have anything interesting to post right now because I don’t have a scanner or camera. Actually, I’ll just take a picture of my sketchbook right now. It’s a little doodle I’m working on. Im ight scan it and color it digitally later. But just me even saying that I will implies that it will never ever get done. :\
Anyway, here it is. :p
Yesterday was my last work day in figure drawing class. I wanted to fill in the background around the model cros a cross hatch and now my whole right hand hurts from gripping the conte for so long.

TWENTY
So, It’s been a while since I updated… Also, it’s my 20th birthday today, and Kang Daesung’s Birthday in Korea… so… yay! Here’s some images that I have generated with my hand…
So… here are images from a project I never finished. I never even got around to drawing Youngbae.
My birthday~ I didn’t have a big celebration, but I had a cake and got flowers.

Self portrait!
Just finished this piece today, for my drawing class. I may add more to it later, but this was the submission for the grade.
Click to enlarge. I took the pictures with my phone because my real camera has no battery charger at the moment. So yeah, sorry for the blurriness. Also, that’s supposed to be an optic mouse as my right hand…but it looks like a hoof.
Now I have to start working on my final piece… which is most likely going to revolve around Spock as suggested by my professor and in light of the new Star Trek film… so…yeah.
Pon Farr or GTFO
So for my drawing class where doing an assignment where you copy an image identically by using a grid. Personally I think this exercise is pointless because it’s like what you have someone do just to make them feel like they have some amount of artistic talent. But it’s just another skill. I mean, I think ANYONE can get pretty sweet results using this technique, but when you’re an art student and being able to copy an image exactly means you don’t need a grid, the idea of this completely defeats the purpose of the effort. I mean, it’s certainly time consuming and tedious… but I dunno, it’s a bit shit, I think. Not to insult my professor or anyone in my class, but I dunno… I’m taking advantage of it though…
So enough moaning about it, I only brought it up to say that the image I’m using is a pretty bad ass image of Mr. Spock, from Star Trek, because I am a nerd and am madly in love with the young Leonard Nimoy.
So I’m going to be replicating that image (on the left) as a 18″ x 24″ drawing (so far it’s turning out pretty sweet, but that’s expected considering the method at hand) that will be colored later this week in colored pencil. I decided against doing the background, because I’m going to draw in some text around him that’s going to say “Pon Farr or GTFO.” So I’m quite excited about that part, because I’m immature and easily amused (and a giant nerd for knowing what “Pon Farr” means). I’m definitely going to mat the image at some point and it’s going to be a major portfolio piece of mine haha. Just because Spock is so Bad ass.
One more thing! I signed up for beta testing for a new game platform that supposed to be released in the winter. It’s called Onlive. My brother was telling me about it and I’m pretty psyched. So I signed up for beta testing. I’m not a gamer, but I think this would be a cool thing to approach as a n00b to gaming, Since I don’t have a specific preference when it comes to video games because I suck at every single one I’ve ever played (Yes, even the original Mario on NES). So yeah. I’m excited about that.
So that’s all I really have to say. Now I have to write my paper on Surrealism, FO REALZ NOW.
- Good Day!
